Day 37

Apparently Jim Philips thinks I'm coming back...

If my job wasn't halfway decent...which it appears to be...at least halfway decent...I think I'd be headed back...

Because...trust me...this whole selling a house...renting a house...buying a house, renting a house...lease purchasing a house....stinks...

I'll keep you updated...but...as of tonight...we are going to try to lease/purchase this house...and if it all works out...we will only have to move once...We'll see...

Day 36

Nothing too exciting today...

A couple of Apache Helicopters flew over...and I snapped this lousy photo...

Day 35

I went and looked at another house today...It's a nice house...on a HUGE lot...

We are exploring the option of a lease/purchase...seeing as how we are poor...and we can't buy a house until our Florida house has sold...

Today I finished editing the boys latest sports videos...You can see Daniel here....and you can see Dean here...

I head home again on Friday...it will be my last trip home before I head back and move the family to Louisiana...We will be celebrating Dean's 7th birthday...and ANYONE that wants to come by Saturday afternoon should do so...we'll be hanging out by the pool BBQ-ing hotdogs and hamburgers...so come on by and say HI!

Day 34

I went to have dinner with some of Janet's family today which was fun....and quite delicious...

and there was only one incident...

apparently...the chipotle marinade had oil in it...and...apparently oil burns...

Day 33

So...it's me and Pops...for a night out on the town...

By a night out....I mean playing poker...and by out on the town...I mean at a dive bar down the road from their house...

Being the big winner for the night...between the two of us...I decide that we should go grab something to eat...

Heading down the highway...He tells me to turn at the next light...then he tells me to wait until the next light...

Then...I get pulled over by a state trooper for weaving...Thankfully they don't issue "You have an easily confused Father" tickets

All in all it was a pretty good night...

Day 32...

Day 31

Whoever said 'Life in Prarieville isn't exciting'....

Never lived in Prairieville...

Today..when I got home from work...there were 2 state trooper cruisers...lights on...outside my parents' house...Two young men were cuffed...

Apparently they stole a truck...ran into a car...and flipped the truck into a ditch that's across the street from the homestead...

It's like GTA IV in my front yard!
