I got to bring my mom and my grandmother to a Symphony fund raising event at this really great plantation...Previously featured (see day 46)Inside the Estate....was a statue carved by Gutzon Borglum. It's a pretty amazing piece of historical artwork...
Originally purchased for $50 from a yard sale or estate sale or something...Later it was cleaned...and discovered that it was about 103 pounds of pure silver...
I mean...it's no Powerblock....but...I'd say that's a good find...
